Artway A4 Pastel Paper Pad - 6 Assorted Colours

Artway introduces this pastel paper in 6 assorted colours, in a convenient A4 sketch pad format. A fantastic addition to our range of specialist artists papers and pads.

Made from high cotton content and cold-pressed, this Italian-made paper provides a quality surface for pastels. The 160gsm pastel paper is durable and demonstrates excellent blending and layering qualities. The paper features a distinctive tooth, which picks up pigment remarkably well when you drag a pastel across the surface, achieving deeper, richer colours.

This paper for pastels comes in a gummed pad format. You can work directly in the sketchpad or tear out individual sheets when needed. For best results, fold the paper back and forth before tearing to ensure clean, easy removal.

At A4 size the pastel pad is convenient and portable, fitting easily in a rucksack or bag. Perfect for a student or travelling artist.

The pastel paper is PH neutral and archival quality.

The Artway assorted colours pastel pad contains 24 sheets of 160gsm pastel paper, with 4 sheets of each of the 6 colours, allowing you to expand your creative possibilities with the varying tones.

Colours Included: Charcoal, Duck Egg Blue, Pearl Grey, Ivory, Custard Yellow, Tan.

The dyed pages reduce pastel consumption by providing a coloured base, allowing you to work more efficiently while exploring different tonal effects.

The Artway pastel pad is also available in white, in the same 24 sheet gummed A4 pad format and with the same quality pastel paper.

Whilst primarily intended for use with soft pastels and oil pastels, the paper also works well when combined with a variety of other mediums.

Graphite, coloured pencils and charcoal all work well when used alone on the paper, or in conjunction with pastels when adding finishing touches and working over initial sketches.
